Gucci Mane Ends Brick Squad? The latest Twitter feud with Waka Flocka Flame leaves future of the label in question. Turmoil between Gucci and Waka Flocka Flame plus the death of Brick Squad artist Slim Dunkin helped kill the label, according to a bunch of tweets from the Atlanta rappers. On what turned out to be an unusually busy day for Twitter beef between Gucci and Waka, the former friends went at it for a while Sunday (Sept. 8). The whole thing boiled over when crew affiliate OJ Da Juice Man refused to side with either of the ex-comrades but had nice words for Gucci, and clapped back at Brick Squad Monopoly member Wooh Da Kid. The end result was an exchange of emotions, subliminal shots and allegations thrown in just about every direction. Of everyone involved, Gucci was mostly on the defense, addressing claims that he stole money from Waka, and paid to get Dunkin's accused killer, Young Vitto, acquitted. Although Vito was found innocent of murder in February, he is still serving 25 years for possession of a handgun and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, stemming from the fatal altercation. Gooch maintains that he wasn't involved in any shady dealings regarding the case. "I did not pay for a lawyer for guy who killed slim dunlin.Thats a, lie. I luv dunk," he tweeted. Responding to rumors that he took more than his share of the money pot, the "So Icey" rapper decided to throw his manager, Deborah Antney (aka Waka's Mom), under the bus instead. "Tell. BSM. Ya ma stole 500k from oj. Got my boy tapping at d texaco again." He also challenged Atlantic Records to ante up $1 million for the rights to Waka's music, and is basically fed up with his fledgling roster in general. "I cant rep Bricksquad. Every artist I bought a bricksquad chain. Let a n---- rob them for it. Every chain. Pitiful fux bricksquad." Meanwhile, Waka serenly watched from the sidelines taking indirect shots at his one-time business partner with hits like, "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake #ImNOTexcited," and "Self explanation is a form of guilt. I've helped many careers along the way, now it's time too help my team and I. #HopeYouMuf---asReady." If Gucci's sincere with the threat, ending Brick Squad could leave the fate of artists Young Scooter and Young Thug hanging in the balance, but may not affect Chief Keef. The Chicago rapper announced his Brick Squad partnership in May, but still has a deal with Interscope Records, for his Glory Boyz Entertainment label. Keef hasn't commented on the latest drama.
